tracker7Headed to Liberty after work - and a satisfying steak-and-eggs breakfast - Friday morning. Stopped in Danville for the requisite bottles of Mountain Dew Real Sugar. Dad and Kaiser were out when I got to the house, so, naptime for me!
Dad and I went out for a pizza that evening, had some good talk, watched a Mission: Impossible movie.
He had an Honor Guard funeral Saturday morning, and when that wrapped, we headed to Green River Lake for the afternoon. Ran the pontoon up and down the lake, spending about four hours just roaming the waters. Green River Lake is, to be honest, not the biggest, but it's quite nice - sort of a local secret, since the bigger Lake Cumberland is nearby and pulls a lot more out-of-state visitors.
A good, good weekend.
