tracker7Let's get the end-of-year retrospective out of the way early. Avoid the Week 52 rush.
2007 was a pretty rough year. That ol' interesting times curse seemed to find me. The year kicked off with me getting out from under an onerous task, but bailing on it seemed to put a damper on my creative processes for the entire year. With the clarity of vision that hindsight provides, I could have stuck it out and got the work done.
A high point followed with Erin's junior year recital - all of her hard work resulted in a terrific performance.
A month later, we separated, but on good terms.
Summer was godawful hot, just a miserable stretch of weeks and months that pushed into early October. Somewhere in there, I went to GenCon, and had a good time there, but I don't know that I'll go back for more than a day trip.
With the end of October cameelalyr and tegyrius' wedding. Big wonderful day, time with friends, and to be quite honest, a real boost to my own self-esteem.
The next big boost came just last week. I've got a writing job again, and already I'm feeling better. Starting with my next post, I'm going to log my progress on the job - at present, I'm a little over 10% of the requested wordcount. I have to ask a favor again - when you see me on AIM or ICQ or YIM, give me a little nudge, and ask if I'm writing at the moment.
