I had a fine Saturday.  Drove to Liberty to see the family.  Mom and The Niece and I went to one of the county's Amish bulk markets, and then had lunch at the Bread of Life Cafe.  Should you ever find your way passing through southern Casey County on US127, I do recommend stopping by.

A few weeks ago, WHAS-AM in Louisville dropped their local evening call-in show, hosted by a fellow named Joe Elliott.  Elliott's show was most always entertaining, and tended to focus on state and local issues.  To me, it was a great community forum.  What was the show replaced with?  Michael Savage.  Dear Lord.  Billy Reed's comments on it are pretty much my own, and you can check 'em out here

The Colts play my Raiders today, and the evening game is Eagles-Cowboys.  No interest in the 1 o'clock game, so I've got about seven hours to beat this Spycraft job into submission.  Somewhere in there, I've got to do the final round of edits for the kilochurch, but that should only take an hour or so.  This should be a good Sunday.

Finished re-reading Moonrise, by Ben Bova, yesterday.  It's good stuff, as Bova's tends to be, and I picked up something in it I'd missed before - Bova does a bang-up job of villifying anti-technologists.

My order from the Green Ronin "Apocalypse Sale" came in this week.  Five books and a boxed set for $40, including shipping.  One of the books ran $45 on store shelves, so even if I don't use them, I'll make my money back at Half-Price Books.
