It's a lovely Friday morning.  Air temp was below 70F when I left for work about 90 minutes ago, and it hasn't climbed very much at all since then.  My former manager brought in a couple boxes of donuts from Spalding's Bakery, so we're all going to be on wonderful sugar highs for a while.

Only a tiny handful of ads to be concerned with today.  Instead, we're doing some minor bookkeeping.  Tracking down a few errors here and there.  I'm planning to get some more work done on Flags today, too.  Maybe, if I'm very very lucky, finishing off the largest (by word count) section of the project.

In a week, I'll be at GenCon.  Probably just getting the second game of the show underway.  Friday's probably going to be the biggest day of the con for me - an early-in-the-day game, followed by exhibitors' hall roaming, then the seminar, then the dinner and other-stuff expedition.  Weather this year looks much, much better than last year - air temperatures about 15-20F cooler, for starters.

This should be a good weekend.  Grocery shopping tonight, a haircut (and maybe coloring it, too) tomorrow, and a whole lot of writing.  I plan on camping out at the LexPubLib for a good while, as it is really conducive to getting lots of work done.

Right now, my friends, things are quite good with me.  I could do with a nice backrub, but who couldn't, y'know?  This is probably my last post until after the convention.  I might try to slip in a report from Indy somewhere along the way, but no guarantees.

I sure hope to. I'm really looking forward to getting away for a while.

Well, I wanted to go to the Crafty Seminar on Friday night but MGP kept moving our Mongooose demonstrator's dinner to "tomorrow night", then on Friday decided it probably wasn't going to happen at all, an hour before 7:00. This got me in the mood to not want to do anything else that night.

I started a demo of Warlords miniatures, the huge dungeon game which lasted 4 hours. I thought it was a 2 hour game.

Oh well, I'll hit you up for a recap when we get back. ;)

Show was terrific. Got lots of stuff, and happy with Mongoose guys. May be at their booth next year.

Now, sleep.
