Shannon Adkins was my second cousin.  Sweet, bright, a great kid.  Seven weeks shy of her 19th birthday.

I don't care about the well-being of Desiree Olsen and her children.  She chose to place her own convenience above the safety of others.

I know that in time, this will pass, but today, I just want revenge.

That's the perversity of this whole thing. Shannon had taken at least the first steps towards finding a reason for Johnston County's particular notoriety.
