Town Called Malice

Preseason football update:  The Bengals beat the Redskins Sunday night, and my Raiders beat the Vikings last night.

Today should be a good one at the office - the sales goons are going to be in meetings (onsite and offsite) all day.  I'm hoping to be able to spend most of the day writing writing writing.

All Aboard

When I came in to work this morning, a RJ Corman crew was ripping up the rail spur that runs into the building.  Dammit.  I liked it better when our paper came in on boxcars - not just because I like trains rather a lot and occasionally got to see a CSX mother-and-slug set or pair of RJCC Geeps coming and going, but because the company that delivers the paper now hires mostly 2-week wonders for their drivers, and our back lot is clogged by trucks a couple times a week.
