All Through the House

Some ups and downs this weekend.  A good time with Erin, but I was not at all constructive until late last night, when I managed to wash a whole bunch of laundry.

44 hours of vacation time left to me this year.  I can carry 16 over to 2007, but I think I'm going to find a week somewhen that's still open and go nuts on T2013.  A week of near-isolation can do wonders for the creative impulse.

Collision

I may, in fact, be an ass, but at this moment in time I don't much care anymore about the developmentally disabled child probably taken away by his mother who does not have custody.

The dead social worker throws an interesting spin on this, though.

This Amber Alert text has been running since about 9 p.m., and about all I can think is that it's going to be even more annoying when I watch this again in a few days.
