So Excited
Dec. 4th, 2006 09:09 amI think I'm in worse condition than yesterday. Went to Berea around 11 to help the band set up the Union Church sanctuary for the Christmas concert. More heavy lifting. After the concert, putting things back as they were. And moving things from the church to the Presser building. And the after-show pizza feast. Got home about 1:20, and was dead to the world by 1:35. My back and elbows are very cross with me today.
The concert was wonderful, by the way. Erin's parts made me happy - the medley of a dozen or so Christmas tunes especially. The Black Music Ensemble is amazing, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the church who didn't go bugnuts over the Bluegrass Music Ensemble. I can appreciate and recognize the talent and ability there, but the end result just grates on me.
Teaming up with Mom&Dad to get my niece a Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas. I called Mom to ask her about a PSTwo for Micahalia, but Mom said she had been asking about a DS, so that's the route we're going to take. I'm looking at one for myself sometime after the first of the year (and hey, if five of you good folks sign up to Gamefly for a month, and use me as the reference, I'll get one free!) so that she and I can play together.
