This was the first of a series of weekends to be spent helping out my grandmother.  Mowed the very large yard, and have the sunburn to show for it.  Helped with her housework and all kinds of other things.  And we talked a lot.  For the first time, we talked about her aneurysm.  She's accepted what it is, and what's going to happen.  And she's lived months longer with the thing than anyone - her doctors, first on that list - expected.  She's clearly happiest when she's in her own home, and although she has some short-term memory problems, she's still plenty sharp in conversation.

Now, time to get some writing done, and wash an assload of clothes.
