Half Price Books

Mike and I went to Half Price Books today. To celebrate free RPG day, they have a RPG sale and announced that they are going to run games on a bi-monthly basis. If you are interested, you must sign up in advance.

Games will be held during business hours. You have to bring your own books. Miniatures, avatars, and costumes are welcome. They will probably play outside on the tables.

When you sign up, you will be registered to win one of two sets of dice to be given away in July. They are taking requests. Games will be rotated to insure variety. They mentioned that they are really excited to try out Star Wars Saga.

Each player will receive 15% off all store merchandise on game nights.

Blue Monday

Sometimes, it's really comforting when your expectations, even if they're bad ones, are confirmed.  Maybe I'm more conservative than I like to admit.  Maybe my spiritual journey is meant to be a solitary one.  Something.  But I did not feel comfortable at the client church today.

Got in some PS2 time tonight, for the first time in a great while, a few hours with God of War.  Plenty fun, violent and gory, and the hot monkey lovin' minigame made my inner thirteen-year-old cackle.  I may wind up keeping this one.
