Shine a Light
Oct. 11th, 2007 07:51 amYesterday, I gave the DS another test: How bright are the screens, anyway? I'm pleased to report that the answer is: Very. Playable outside in bright sunlight. This thing is letting me get lots more playing time out of old GBA carts in addition to the new DS games. Couldn't be happier with it.
I've started reading Changeling: the Lost, courtesy of a loan from
tegyrius I like this; the new World of Darkness continues to impress me very much. Still left cold by either version of Vampire, but everything else so far has been terrific stuff.
For bedtime reading, though, I'm revisiting one of the greats - Raymond Chandler. Ever want to see how to really turn a setting into a character? Right there, man. Right there.
It looks like summer has finally been shuffled off. Was just a little over 40 when I woke up this morning, and forecasts are for a high under 60 today. Time to get a jacket out of the closet. Hooray!
