Are you Ready to be Heartbroken?
Jan. 21st, 2008 11:23 amIt's Day Three of an extended weekend. A very cold weekend.
Iron Age (Mutants & Masterminds) is yet another terrific book in a terrific line. It begins with a discussion of the Iron Age and the comics that made it so (including the Armor Wars storyline!). Lots of good suggestions on how to run an Iron Age game, and how it would differ from other times. My name is misspelled on the OGL page, though.
Hollow Earth Expedition is equally terrific, and is incidentally one of the best proofed and edited things I've seen in a long time. Setting's a hoot, rules look to be pretty slick.
Saturday afternoon was the first gaming I've gotten in in entirely too long, a one-shot Spycraft game. Good fun, but the mission suffered greatly from being a Living Spycraft package.
