Make It

Yesterday saw a number of state and local elections. To the east, Virginia made some noise - Democrats got the governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general offices, and got enough seats in the House of Delegates to turn it blue, including transgender and Democratic Socialist candidates. Maine voted for Medicaid expansion.

It's not a wholesale repudiation of Trump and his awfulness, but it's pushback, and it makes me feel a little hopeful about 2018. I know Kentucky will send Barr and Massie and their ilk back to the House, and Louisville will reelect Yarmuth to counter them a little bit, but nationally, things may get better.
