This was, on the whole, a very good Christmas weekend. I woke up obscenely early Sunday morning, and it was the kind of awake where you know you are not going back to sleep anytime soon. So, got up, cleaned up, and loaded the Mariner, then headed to Liberty.

Saturday was mostly cleaning and straightening and prepping for Christmas dinner and the rest of the family's arrival on Christmas Day. Some errands for Mom&Dad. Good talks with them, and we watched Fury Road in the evening.

Christmas Day, everybody's there - well, people we wanted there - although not all at the same time. The Niece and her on-again-off-again boyfriend arrived late afternoon. The three of us spent a couple of hours playing Gran Turismo, to Mom's mild disappointment and Dad's mild amusement.

A bolt holding the tailgate glass to a hinge broke while I was loading the Mariner this morning. I left it in Liberty - Dad's taking it to our mechanic for me - and brought the Canyon back up here. This is a pretty darn good midsize pickup.

So, now I'm back in Louisville, with four new boardgames and four new PS4 discs (counting Final Fantasy X and X-2 as separate games) and a boatload of leftovers and a surprising amount of cash. The house is warming up, and the servers are providing updates to GT Sport, and for now, at least, things are good.
