Wave Rider

The Kentucky Derby Festival is past its midpoint now. Got to see the balloons competing in the Rush Hour Race take off from Bowman Friday morning, and blew off gaming Friday night to go to KFEC for the Glow. A couple dozen hot-air balloons grounded and firing their furnaces just enough to keep the things inflated - and illuminated, hence the Glow - is quite beautiful, and louder than we expected. Darn lovely evening.

Played some X-Wing and Marvel Legendary for tabletop day yesterday. Decent time of it, nothing spectacular.

Started the Mage game tonight. Good group of players and a mix of Traditions represented. It's kicking off as a hunt for a serial killer with the obligatory occult overtones.

Mom&Dad are coming up tomorrow, I think. This is good. I'm missing a lot of the best people in my life right now.
