People lie all the Time

After a year and change of testing and reporting and playing with mockups and prototypes, I got in a game of X-Wing Second Edition. I played an escalation match against one of our younger players, following up on a set of First Edition games. The new X-Wing is a huge improvement over its predecessor; the R5 astromech's ability to repair damage is really great. The formal release event is September 13, and it looks like escalation matches are going to be the order of the night.

Mom's doing better, still. Glucose and blood pressure are good, her appetite is slowly returning without any signs of gluttony accompanying it. She still needs to walk more, though.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout continues the franchise's streak of being the best Spycraft campaign I never got to run. Star Wars: Rebels wrapped up on a satisfying note, with appropriate sacrifices and adventure and mystery.
