Took the Mariner to the tire shop, and initial diagnosis was good - adhesive weakening on both front wheels. So, got that fixed and off I went. No luck on the driver's side, though. Had to air it up before going downtown Saturday afternoon and again when I was heading home. Got up this morning and it was flat as a strap. Tried airing it up again, but it wasn't happening. Put the spare on and went back to the shop. Found dry-rot and a gash in the sidewall, so necessary replacement. Got them to credit me the cost of the repair, and I'm okay now.

Did get to spend some time with Dad yesterday. Swap meet was a bust, but we got lunch together at Joella's Hot Chicken. He raced a storm home - monster thunderclaps here in Louisville, rolling on for 60-90 seconds. Darned impressive, and worth interrupting a pre-work power nap. No damage anywhere, far as I know, so just some big-time entertainment courtesy of impending springtime in the Ohio Valley.
