This is all purely subjective, of course.

Both were about 30 minutes too long, with solid openings and closings and very weak second acts.

They were both okay. And that's really the best thing I can say about them.

Yeah, but "Skyfall" was Bond walking back all the newer aspects of the series that had made him more relevant. AoU did nothing of the sort.

We could also talk about what was done to the strong leading ladies except I don't really agree with all the current flap about Black Widow. They can go right straight to Hecks for what was done to M in that Skyfall movie.
