tracker7Dice are treacherous things. Got in some X-Wing at TLGS over the weekend, flying a 5-ship Rebel squadron against a Defender, Interceptor, Advance Prototype, and a pair of TIE/FOs. Got some good early licks in (yay Blount and Assault Missiles and TIEs in close formation), but then ... attempted to block with the Z-95s so my B-Wing could get a good shot, but it didn't quite work. Wound up with a Z-95 sitting in front of the Defender and Interceptor. Opponent rolls four hits from the Interceptor - and my greens come up blank, and a pristine Z-95 vanishes. Same thing with the Defender, four hits, two blanks, boom. We laughed.
Played Mutant Future at SYR. Great game, and no one there to stir poo or cause drama. Thing is, I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep going. Kaiju has very poor A/C, and 30 people packed into that space generate a LOT of heat. By the time we get back to our cooler season, football will be underway, and that eats up my Sunday afternoons.
