tracker7Alien and Aliens are two of my favorite movies - one is a fantastic science fiction horror movie, the other building on the first to create an amazing science fiction action movie. And in both cases, there's a lot more going on than an alien monster and the humans fighting it.
These two led to the terrible Alien3 and the just not very good Alien: Resurrection. And the Alien-Predator movies, and let's just not talk about those.
A few years ago, there came word of Prometheus. Ridley Scott takes the reins, a prequel, giving answers about the origin of the aliens. And those answers were stupid, but the movie made money, so, Alien: Covenant. It wasn't as bad as its immediate predecessor, but it wasn't very good.
