Game Five went ten innings last night, ending in a Dodgers loss, 11-12. Travel day today, then back to Los Angeles for the Series finale. The Dodgers have to win both games. I'm hopeful.

The first time I lived in Louisville, in 1989, there were, as far as I knew, two businesses that carried games and gaming supplies as a core part of their, well, business. There was The Great Escape, still going strong on the southeast end of the Highlands, and Something 2 Do, which had shops in two or three indoor malls. When I came back in August 2014, S2D was down to a single store in Oxmoor Mall, my buddy Colin's The Louisville Game Shop was going strong at the other end of the Highlands, and Role of the Die was open. There were some other shops, too, Silver Creek and Destination, but they were only barely on my radar. Mall ownership didn't want S2D to stay in their upscale site, so either declined to renew the lease or increased the cost to a ridiculous amount. So, the owners sold the business to their longtime manager, Brandy, who found a good location over on Hurstbourne. This site became "my" S2D - it's where Chris N's X-Wing league played on Thursday nights and where I met some people who have become great friends. And one day, some folks went over there to play something, and the doors were locked and the lights were off. Social media posts said a new location would be announced soon, but, you can guess the rest. "Soon" never happened. The space is still vacant, or at least it was a couple of weeks ago.

Role of the Die is now Legends, and located just inside 264 on Bardstown, making it the closest shop to me. I haven't been there in a while, not since Tuesday night X-Wing there became Wednesday nights at Heroes.

In bigger news, Robert Mueller's investigation into Donald Trump's campaign and office announced its first indictments - Paul Manafort and Rick Gates. More interesting, there's been a guilty plea from a campaign officer, and it looks like this guy, George Papadopolous, may have been flipped since July. I don't have any expectation that this will lead to Trump (and hopefully more) being removed from office, but it's good news nonetheless.
