I've found a few local buyers for some of the game stuff I'm selling. A couple of other people were noncommittal, so I'm writing them off and selling the rest to Noble Knight.

New hire isn't going to work out. Working nights isn't for everyone, and she says she's afraid of the site being so empty. If she can hold it together for a week, that'll be great, because after that, the place's problems are no longer problems for me to deal with.

I am so looking forward to next weekend. The getaway is going to be a great time with great people and food and games and just being away for a bit. Then a couple of days at Mom&Dad's, preparing things for my move. We'll see how long I'm there, how things go, all that. It's maybe not the best idea, but I think it beats an ongoing stretch of, well, yeah.

I'm ready to get back to a normal human sleep schedule. Nearly a year of going to bed at two in the afternoon - just way too long. Even if I'm losing my entire social circle with the move, I'll be awake and asleep when I'm supposed to be.

Working nights during a bad time in my life did extremely bad things to my health, but that was at least heavily in part due to the condition I was already in. I still wouldn't want to do it today; second shift is one thing but third shift is a whole other beast.

It's not for everyone. I like the relative solitude and quiet of working overnight, but it's been murder on my social life. I won't miss it.
