tracker7'Bout 24 hours ago, CNN and other news agencies reported that 12 of 13 coal miners trapped in a mine in Tallmansville, West Virginia, were alive. My employer, and a great number of other similar companies, printed front pages reporting this.
This morning, when I woke up, I turned on the radio - local AM station, as I usually go to sleep listening to Coast to Coast AM. First thing I hear, the numbers were backwards. 1 survivor. Damn.
My car's alternator failed. Tegyrius and Hillthug and I got it to Hillthug's house (hooray for trucks that can tow things), and he's going to replace the alternator tomorrow. He's the man, for those of you what don't know him.
Gotta get to bed.
