The Raiders walloped the Chiefs yesterday.  The Bengals looked awful.  And although there were some bullshit calls that probably sent the game in a different direction than it should have gone, Mike Shanahan and the Broncos going for two instead of sudden-death-overtime was great to see.

Also, have seen evidence that some tiny microscopic fraction of fanfic doesn't utterly suck.  Seriously, this is some terrific Iron Man stuff.

IIRC, Dalzell was injured about mid-season. He was a good linebacker while healthy, though - quite fast.

At the last home game, he happened to be up in the stands for a while, and had a lengthy conversation with a couple of other players very near our seats. Erin was all a-twitter over the accent and Mr. Dalzell's boyish good looks.
