A strange workweek comes to an end, and a long weekend begins.  I wasn't quite so busy this week as previous ones (Test Drive was only about half as big this week as last), but I was still glad to see Friday get here.

Going to Louisville tomorrow.  Saint James Court Art Fair, a day out with The Niece.  It's going to be fun, but I do wish I was in Collinsville this weekend.  Especially after a phone call this afternoon from a friend who is there.  Dammit.

Maybe going to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the next couple of days.  Definitely going somewhere during the time off.  If I stick around this apartment, I'll flip out.

First two episodes of the new Clone Wars series were ... okay.  Definitely written for kids.  I was editing on the fly while I watched.

Test Drive - an advertising project I'm charge of. It's a not especially difficult task, but it can be really time-consuming.

Saint James Court Art Show - http://www.stjamescourtartshow.com/ Big to-do in Old Louisville. Lots of terrific art and people-watching.

The Niece - My niece Micahalia. The light of my life, a fashion-model-beautiful tween who can switch from tomboy to holy-cow-that's-girly and back again between blinks of an eye.

Collinsville - Collinsville, Illinois, home of Diecon (www.diecon.com) and Archon (www.archonstl.org), two fine little conventions.
