Get up and Jump
Feb. 22nd, 2007 08:06 amDrove home through some moderately heavy fog last night. Still foggy this morning. That's noticeable fog for something like 30 hours. Should I see drenched people wearing period costumes today, I'll be very afraid, but not entirely surprised.
I'm writing about Titan and what it's like in my SF setting. I think that it's gotta be a strange place to live and work - dim light that comes from everywhere and nowhere in the sky, darn cold, the ground melts under your boots and refreezes to slush as soon as you step away, and with the large amounts of methane in the atmosphere, it stinks.
I really don't want to go to work today. I don't know what I want to do, but spending 8 hours at that little Imac, shuttling electrons and papers, isn't it.
