Talk to Me
May. 28th, 2007 09:09 amMemorial Day last year, about this time, I had gotten Erin to the Louisville airport to begin her trip to Europe. There were airline misadventures coming and going, culminating in an overnight rescue trip to Chicago upon her return to the states.
Completed the first round of edits on Bethel Harvest's magazine last night while watching the Monaco Grand Prix. About four pages of notes, some repeating. Probably a second round before the day's out.
Today, of course, is Memorial Day. Lots of visits to graveyards all across the country today, and parades and somber remembrances. For most, though, I guess it's a day off from work, a weekend vacation, a backyard barbecue.
I'm feeling better lately - the cold is about gone, and a lot of my creative energy is coming back. I'm better when I'm working against a problem, for certain extremely broad definitions of that, and the idea of getting back into school in the spring is sounding better and better.
