So, I'm working on Spycraft again. The mission outline is almost complete, and once that's approved, I'll have about four weeks to get the first draft together. That feels good - I haven't had an honest-to-God writing job since I bailed out of Twilight:2013 a year ago, and that's added to the Great Slump of 2007.
My department manager and I had a talk about that yesterday. I don't interact with MAH nearly as much as I do with LM, but I do greatly respect her. She's one of the most professional people I know, and she does a bang-up job running the department. Every now and again, though, that professionalism slips, and more often than not, the results are hilarious. Her unintentional chicken dance when referring to a certain twit-who-should-not-have-been-rehired-much-less-placed-in-authority was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Christmas is three weeks away. My niece is very excited about it, and this is the first Christmas Day in several years that we'll be together on. I expect a busy day of downloading music and playing Animal Crossing.
