Oct. 27th, 2008 07:37 pmEvery now and again, I get a bad idea. Like, "Could I use Fantasycraft for a game in Jacqueline Carey's Terre D'Ange setting?"*
The workweek kicked off on an unhappy note. One of our really good sales reps lost her mother in a traffic accident over the weekend. It's put a pall over our department and my team.
The Phillies have a good chance of wrapping up the World Series tonight. I am a bit disappointed that the Rays didn't make a better showing, but they did make it farther than my Dodgers, and going from worst-in-MLB to league champion in a single season's pretty darn good.
There's a freeze watch out for our area tonight. One of my reps said he drove through some sleet this afternoon. And it's not even Halloween yet.
Eight days until the election. They can't pass quickly enough.
*Yes, I know, 7th Sea would make so much more sense. Said it was a bad idea.
