Silence Below

When the conversation begins with a variant of "what are you doing?" rather than a question requiring a specific bit of information - when did a particular event occur, who is this person's parent/child/sibling/what-have-you, what does the CS stand for - it means she needs a favor. I know this, and have for a long while.  I just forget it when it happens.

Started talking about the SW game Tuesday night.  I think I'm going to play a Jedi ambassador.  This should be interesting, and I'm already setting a pretty high bar for myself.

Thanksgiving was good.  No unwanted pests.  I mean, guests.  Played Cleopatra and the Society of Architects.  Talked about books and movies and games.  Watched the Lions continue to be dreadfully inept.  Saw a Cadillac pulled over by a DARE minivan on the drive home.  On the drive to Mom&Dad's, saw a lighted programmable highway sign flashing "CAUTION" over and over again.  Ah, Garrard County, land of unspecified peril.

Have maybe 90 minutes of work to do tomorrow.  Planning to divide my time otherwise between Civilization: Revolution and some game writing.
