It's been a decent weekend. Friday night's game went well. Saturday was eaten up by sleep; I didn't get up for good until early afternoon. This afternoon's D&D game was entertaining enough, less for the game than the company.
Paizo announced an upcoming open playtest for a second edition of Pathfinder. I can't say that I'm all that interested, but I do wish 'em well so that Pathfinder can continue subsidizing the stores where I buy other games.
I've had some lengthy conversations with Dad in the past few weeks, almost all to the good. He's already made enough with the new Kenworth to have it half paid for. He's selling off his collection of farm tractors, getting rid of the antiques and keeping the Ford 5000. And he's finally gotten a buyer for my grandparents' home. It's been rented for the past few years, and the most recent renter has made offers, but never more than 80% of the property's value. So, out of the blue, he got an offer, and it's a very good one. And it keeps the property in the family.
