I'm catching up on the last few episodes of Stargate: Universe, and I have to admit that I'm having a hard time staying interested in this show. It doesn't have any of the fun of its predecessor series. I dislike most of the characters - and honestly, I couldn't tell you many of their names. It just isn't working for me.

That's a shame. I've not watched an episode yet because I keep forgetting to look for it or get someone to record it for me. But I was hoping it might be good enough to hunt for once a season is out on DVD.

Your mileage may vary, of course, but SG:U just didn't manage to engage me. I watched a couple of episodes on the DVR yesterday and wound up deleting it from my recording list.

Yeah, that's a pretty good test. If after a few episodes you can't name a single character on show, it's not holding your interest enough.
