There were snow flakes and ice pellets mixed in with the cold rain that accompanied my drive home this afternoon. Not the most cheerful way to kick off a three-day weekend, but since it is a three-day weekend, I am not going to complain. Got a few things on the agenda, mostly just relaxing and enjoying an extra day away from the office.

It looks - or sounds, maybe - like this weather system's going to make for an interesting evening. No forecast or sign of dangerous weather, but I've heard wind howling around the building since getting home about an hour ago. I could listen to that sound all night.
