Got in another Age of Rebellion session Friday night, playing through part two of Onslaught at Arda 1. The players found out the traitor and prevented his escape, and have a lead on his Imperial handler. When next I have a free Friday evening, they'll head off to wrap up that loose end.
Finally got around to dropping off my old iMac and first iPhone for recycling, and assembling a sale list for Noble Knight. The NK sale is getting me a few hundred dollars in store credit - and I've already allocated about a third of that in upcoming purchases. Just so much stuff that I'll never use, and in the case of just about all of one product line, the last time I gave it a look, reading it was just utterly joyless. So, off to Minnesota with all of this.
Work continues, and this week has been pretty rough. Got called in to cover an absence at a good site on Friday, but the rest of the schedule is at maybe the worst site in the branch. Saturday's evening shift got stretched into a double, and I expect that's going to happen again at least once more. If I leave at my scheduled time tonight, I'll be at 39 hours, and at that point, I'm going to only work one more shift there and give myself some rest.
I guess it's a product of aging, but a single double overnight shift just wrecks me. Getting only five hours of sleep between 16 hours and another eight-hour shift does me in. I slept almost twelve hours after getting home last night, I'm still not feeling well-rested. The reward I get for being able to handle things without losing my shit, I guess. Which ... is no reward at all.
