So, my idiot housemate got himself arrested last weekend (October 15). I found out about it a few nights after it happened, thus explaining the couple of truncated voicemails I found that afternoon. The ongoing shouting match that these two needy emotionally immature twits have called a relationship for a couple of years came to another head, and got physical. It is, as to be expected, a whole big thing. Two charges, one a felony.  His defender thinks he'll get home incarceration, plea deal, etc. But he is deeply deeply fucked. I cannot imagine the firm he's been working for keeping him on after this.

I have a couple of escape routes, should they be needed. I'll be okay, and that's what's important.

Friday evening's DCC game went off well. Way more than well, really. Had four players, two new to DCC, and everyone got onboard quickly. Lots of good roleplay, and swordplay, and spellplay. Gosh, what a fun evening.

I finally decided I was worth the expense and treated myself to Gran Turismo 7. It's a beaut, unsurprisingly. Non-racing gameplay calls back to the GTs I played on PS2 - tuning is more detailed, there are used cars available as well as new and classics, licensing tests, missions, etc. Pretty good soundtrack on this one, too.

Goodness yes! It's so pretty, even on my older PS4 and TV. I'm having fun with the missions - next up is a higher-level license test!
