Left a note for the letter carrier in my mailbox this morning.  Came home tonight, expecting to find the note there and nothing else, and lo and behold, there's the regular Wednesday junk mail bundle.  Now, maybe some real mail will start showing up.

Surprising conversation with my dad a couple of nights ago - he's hooked on Jericho, too.  We're throwing theories around now and again.

49 years ago today, the old Soviet Union launched Sputnik I, beginning the Space Age.  7 years ago today, my grandfather died, ending another age.
