tracker7So far, a pretty good weekend. Erin and I ran around with tegyrius yesterday - lunch and then a visit to Half-Price Books. It's kind of funny to see books you used to own on shelves in a store. I picked up the d20 Modern core book and something new from Harry Turtledove.
Finished reading Voyage. Tore through Confrontation at Lepanto, a book on a 16th-century sea battle between Christian and Islamic forces. Slogged through 100 pages of The Necessary Beggar before putting it aside. Today, probably some Ben Bova.
Finally got a copy of the new JSA #1. I like this one already. It's very welcoming to newcomers to the mainstream DC Universe. Iron Man: Hypervelocity looks good, too.
NFL divisional playoffs are this weekend. Happy so far - ugly win by the Colts and a good one by the Saints. Will settle in shortly for hopeful Seahawks (not bloody likely) and Chargers (for the division) wins.
It's mid-Sunday, and I still have a day and a half before going back to work. Third 3-day weekend in 4 weeks.
