I really picked a good week to be off work - or a terrible week, depending on the goals.  The weather's beautiful, sunny and projected highs in the 70Fs all week.  I need to find somewhere with WiFi access outdoors.

Writing is continuing apace.  I'm on the Working Vacation project today;  I've found my attention wandering a little bit, though, towards expanding the REA setting from Earthbound or something like it.

I do have some everyday tasks to see to today.  Some laundry, a quick grocery trip, and maybe going by the Scabbard to look for new M&M books.  All easily handled in one outing, if requiring a circuitous route.

Are you in Japan right now, or is that a reference? Sorry, I'm new to the journal!

Very likely, "Alone in Kyoto" is the name of the song playing when I started the entry. I tend to use currently-playing-titles as subject lines.

Ah. Neat idea for titles.

Sorry, I only ask because I loves me my Kyoto.

I've never been to Japan, to my lasting disappointment. I'd love to see just how different the cultures are there.

Some things are shockingly different. Others are shockingly similar. If you get the chance, get out there. It's worth the experience.
