The Horsemen game was so-so.  Iowa won 54-44.  Iowa has a very cool helmet design - the team name is Barnstormers, and their helmets have a graphic of old-style pilot's goggles pushed up above the player's eyes.  And there was a bat flying around Rupp!  Poor little guy - I hope he was caught and released back outside.

Saw Hellboy II yesterday afternoon.  Good, not up to the first movie, though.  The elf prince and princess were dead-center in my Uncanny Valley, and they kept me unnerved throughout.  Dinner after the movie was a good time.

I didn't have Valley problems with the elves... was it a good or bad kind of unnerved? :) They were supposed to be unworldly after all.

The good kind - I constantly found myself thinking "Holy cow, she's beautiful - and there's something completely wrong with this!"

I think it could be fun after you get used to it :) Absolutely no paranoia from her about you cheating on her or anything. If she doesn't understand your feelings on some matter? Hold hands for awhile. And so on.

I'd be afraid of losing all of the mystery because of that. Sometimes I really like knowing what my SO is thinking, and sometimes I love feeling like that first walk into a strange girl's bedroom, to steal from Lenny Nero.
