No dead cats in the paper this weekend, I'm glad to report.

I love love love my new desk chair.  It remains comfortable for hours at a time.  I can grab quick naps in the thing.  It is wonderful.

Saddam Hussein was executed last night.  US-installed dictator put to death by US-kinda-sorta-installed democracy.  Film at 11, if you have access to Al-Jazeera.  Or YouTube, I'm betting.

Today looks to be all kinds of lovely.  I'm going to finally replace the truck's brake light and maybe just try to spend many hours outside today.

Another idea hit for the Games Day project - instead of hotel convention space, maybe one of the open retail spaces at Turfland Mall.  The NMRA guys run their annual shows out of empty storefronts, and the mall has advantages of easy access, plenty of parking, proximity to the Scabbard, and a LAN cafe inside.
