UofL fired Petrino this afternoon. At first blush, I thought this was a bad idea, but it's the right choice, if expensive. The team's 2-8, no conference wins, and has given up over 50 points in five of the losses. Recruits were decommitting right and left, poor morale among existing players. So, they pulled the trigger. I figure Jeff Brohm will be offered the position.

So, two more games, and this mess of a season is over. Rebuilding, again.
