Paved With Good Intentions

Kicked off the L5R session last night with four of the seven players.  Simple beginnings - a well-regarded Lion samurai is found murdered as a second-tier Winter Court in Crane lands is coming to an end.  My players immediately began to sort out the suspects, motivation, all that good stuff, and developed some rather clever plans to move things along.  Doing an L5R game with restricted clan selection works really well, I've discovered through one-shots, and this one's reinforcing that idea.

Marvel's launching a new Iron Man ongoing series to follow up on the movie.  Don't know what'll happen with the existing series - I'd hate to see it go away, as I think the Knaufs are writing a pretty terrific comic with Director of SHIELD.
